We appreciate your support and patience as we slowly digitize series 3 and move on to series 4.
All our titles are curriculum to test for in our 18 Daoist Palms worldwide home study video
exchange/certification program since 1991. Congratulations to Master Shi Fu Lohon Larry Matheny
for being the first to test yearly on time and go up the traditional ranking system to Master
Shi Fu this last 2006 since I inherited the 7th generation title to 18 Daoist Palms in 1988.
Sincerely,
Grandmaster (Jung Shee) James Patrick Lacy
Five Elder Monk Mew Hing’s 18 Daoist Palms System of Southern Chinese Kung Fu.
Grandmaster Lacy’s ‘Bronze’
Series Productions on DVD
This series will grow over time. As a home study program since 1991, we
specialize in teaching folks worldwide and encourage them to go up the
ranks to master shi fu over 15 years while testing yearly and contributing
back into the system. I pride myself as a martial artist that produces my
own productions and control all my material. This allows my students and
I to create and reach out with the information each generation anew…a bit
more high tech each generation. We are substance not glitter focused. Any
of these productions can be used to test in our home study program.
Ironically, our DVD’s are cheaper than VHS or CD packages we offer. No
excuses – the way it was is the way it is. J
Some prefer VHS so I keep original prices as long as they last and make no
apologies for the agedness of some. I am aware of original footage value on
VHS as well as the universality of .wmv files worldwide on CD. I try and
keep it simple and grow with time. Feel free to call or
e-mail if you want
a special package deal on our older offers – only available if you call.
Look for our bronze series offerings to grow in number and variety..
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Archery for Martial Artists – DVD #1
18 Daoist Palms’ Shi Fu Steve Knopp has produced the best martial art archery
DVD in the world today. It was edited in a two part series. Learn archery
from the ground up, like never before. This is old footage, like many of our
productions, and it was transferred from an original VHS to save this rare
knowledge by one of the world’s greatest ‘archer/martial artist’.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Archery for Martial Artists – DVD #2
This DVD picks up with shooting from the different stances within the martial
arts, including directional, blind folded, intuitive shooting and catching
arrows. This information is all for historical purposes as well. Do not try
catching arrows.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Advanced Iron Body – DVD #1
This is Shi Fu Bill Adams doing the form and breakdowns. His son – assists
with the applications and finer points of each move.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Advanced Iron Body – DVD #2
This is the same form with some creative leeway and original voice activation
for the charka openings. This version was done almost seven years ago by Lohon
Larry Matheny. Larry does great solo breakdowns in sections easy to understand.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ White Tiger (2) Dim Mak Fighting Forms – DVD #1
These follow the principle of stationary and placement. These are lengthy
complicated hand forms done from a moderate high horse and based on ging
developed from the meditations in this series and of course the iron palm.
These are ‘the real dim mak actual fighting forms’ of the highest level.
As you study dim mak attacks to blood gates, nerve plexus and meridian
points, there are no group of authentic five elder lineage dim mak fighting
forms better to use for getting to your favorite points in a small space…including
set-ups, than these forms.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ White Tiger Dim Mak Moving Meditation #1
I have had big companies ask for the two fighting forms to distribute,
and yet they were not interested in the ‘boring to some novices’….authentic
dim mak fighting moving meditations (Qigong) that are absolutely mandatory
for any type of real success. These are not only done slower than Tai Chi
Chuan in speed; the breathing is much different. The goal is to spend five
minutes in the breath control phase before going into the ‘moves’ so slowly
that it takes a minimum of five minutes to do the form one time! This
requires regular breathing, not the traditional inhale with transition
and exhale with strike.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ White Tiger Dim Mak Moving Meditation #2
This is the second authentic dim mak moving meditation you need for this
series of two fighting forms (fast/internal,) and two standing moving
stationary horse stance fighting moving meditations. These meditations
for the fast/internal forms backed up with iron force training are made
even more powerful because of the moving meditations with breath control.
Learning dim mak takes reading and studying books from the dim mak legends
like Erle, Rick Bauer, George, Gary and others. Even I study their books.
That said, these are in my opinion the ‘real’ best lineage forms to ‘get’
to those points – especially upper body points in real life ‘root with your
feet and fight with your hands’ combat legally. Once you have their wisdom
in your mind and these authentic meditations, you will be moving so slowly
with your eyes closed, that the obvious favorite points you learn in the
upper body will sink into your super sub-consciousness, offering greater
depth of creativity in executing different options, as well as the all
important ging force developed just by doing these! The reason I study
David German, Brian Adams and Parker Linekin’s upper body locks and other
chin-na (jujitsu) applications is to better get to the claw applications
useful for blood gates and cavity presses as well as grabbing nerve clusters.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Advanced Qigong Series - DVD 1
Two rare high level chi cultivating standing moving fighting meditations.
Monk Viewing The Moon
Monk Drying Its Silk
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Advanced Qigong Series – DVD 2
Three more to finish the original five in this series. These, (all five in the two DVD series,) once
were valued at $40,000 each.
Stars In Heaven
The Goddess Spreading Her Flowers
10,000 Buddha
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Iron Palm Coconut Break Level 1 Standing Moving Meditation / Martial Qigong Levels 3 – 8
These pick up where the Panther/Century series leave off on these mandatory fighting qigong. These
meditations will cultivate chi, develop tremendous ging in the few moves and help project intent into iron
palm specific fighting moves. These will heal the body from the striking procedure of level 1 for the coconut
break.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Sone Tan Burning Palm DVD 1
This is Mew Hing’s Burning Palm. It is a bit more intense than the Tibetan Lama Burning Palm, and
requires striking procedures and a seated meditation with hand movements and breath control. The
seated qigong is repeated with the same breath control and done ‘standing.’ This first DVD covers
Levels 1 and 2.
- 18 Daoist Palms’ Sone Tan Burning Palm DVD 2
This DVD will teach you the next two sequential Levels 3 and 4

- 18 Daoist Palms’ ‘Fire from Heaven Chi’ – Fire Palm Series – DVD 1 – Part 4
We have two new titles: These are very stationary with complicated hand work. These will give you
the ging and in close advanced short fist fast/internal development that will lead to the implications
of hitting the points, seizing the arteries and blood gates or setting up for upper body foundational
locks, breaks and submissions. These are also great for health and will compliment any art as there
is no footwork. These are based on angulation in the imagination to hit with dim mak no matter what
of the four body types you are facing, as in taller and stronger, taller and weaker, shorter and stronger
or shorter and weaker. These are not just willy/nilly forms from any “system” or Pai, but rather very
old, very traditional, very authentic lineage and practical to get better at over a lifetime as a health
regime exercise in itself. As you learn dim mak from The Art of Life and Death by A. Flane Walker
and Rick Bauer or the many other good ones out there, you will be able to see applications unfold
and make them fit your body type.
